Best shoot ‘em ever: MUSHA Aleste (as you so deligently pointed out once before) as that game took the Mega Drive (Genesis) and milked that sucka for all it’s CPU it could afford! Soundtrack rocked too!

I’m glad they’re publishing these games. I like ‘em even if I can’t handle them too well. I think it’d be cool if there was a sub-genre that limited bullet clutter and explosions, so you could be a bit more strategic about where you place your ship. I guess Ikaruga is more like that? I dunno.

They should have thrown Viper Phase into this collection. It’s also from Seibu but has never had a home port.
The Judge Spear aircraft in Raiden Fighters is from Viper Phase btw.

This game reminds me of 1943 Joint Strike Force. Great review. Seeing all these great arcade titles on the Xbox360 makes me want one.
